Extract from the Revue des questions historiques, October 1, 1894. Paris, Bureaux de la Revue, 1894. In-8 paperback: 44pp. Edition of 75 copies. Poor condition. Some foxing around the leaves, upper corners of the first 20 pages missing, a piece of the upper cover is mounted on a dummy cover. Memoir read on September 5, 1894 at the International Catholic Scientific Congress in Brussels. - CIROT DE LA VILLE (abbé): Origines chrétiennes de Bordeaux ou Histoire et description de l'église de St-Seurin. Bordeaux, Vve Justin Dupuy et Comp, 1867. Large in-4 paperback: 2f., XI, 450pp. figures and maps in the text, 13 plates out of text. The spine of the publisher's cover is replaced by a strip of strong paper glued on. Marginal damage to upper board, lower board missing. Interior of the book clean. - CORBIN (Raimond): Saint-Michel de Bordeaux. Historical and archaeological study. Bordeaux, Lanefranque, 1877. In-8: X, XIV, 297pp, printed beige publisher's cover, bottom cover illustrated (Geometrical plan of the church of Saint-Michel), with the list of the 15 chapels and their location. Marginal loss to upper cover, without damage to text, lower cover in good condition. No foxing. - DEVIENNE (Dom): Histoire de l'Église de Bordeaux. Bordeaux, Lacaze, 1862. In-4 paperback: 2f, 1f, 231pp. Partially uncut. Traces of moisture throughout the book. - LOPES (Hiérosme): L'église métropolitaine et primatiale Sainct André de Bourdeaux, où il est traité de la noblesse, droits, honneurs et prééminence de cette église, avec l'histoire de ses archevêques, et le pouillé des bénéfices du diocèse. Bordeaux, Féret et fils, 1882-1884. 2 volumes in-8 paperback: 376pp; frontispiece and numerous illustrations in the text / 569pp, 1f; frontispiece and numerous illustrations in the text, a large folding map in fine. The map is a reproduction of a map by J. B. NOLIN of 1720: "Galliæ Christianæ, Aquitanica Secunda, Provincia Burdigalensis". Entirely uncropped. The top cover of volume I is mouldy, the bottom cover is missing, corners corroded at the beginning of the volume. Top cover of volume II is in poor condition, bottom cover missing. The last pages are affected by heavy mould. No interior foxing. Contains 2 engravings not included in the book: "Cathédrale et tour St André à Bordeaux", taken from the Guienne Monumentale; and "Abside de St André", taken from the Revue catholique de Bordeaux Set of 6 volumes.
