CAILLOT (Antoine) Annales mç. [masonic] dedicated to His Serene Highness Prince Cambaceres. Paris, Caillot, 5807-5810 (1807-1810). 8 volumes in 4 volumes in-8 : 251pp. - 252pp. / 252pp. - 252pp. / 251pp. - 251pp. / 252pp. - 251pp. Small stains. Black Bradel style boards, spines decorated with Masonic emblems, gilt roulette on the boards, rubbing, paper tears on covers, corners dull. Condition of use. Complete collection extremely rare (Caillet I, 284). According to a handwritten note by De Lerouge, this journal had thirty contributors, the main ones being: Armand Gouffé, Boubée, Caignart de Mailly, de Frénoy, Dumolard, Dupaty, J.-L. Laurens, Maxime de Redon, Mangourit, Félix Nogaret, de Piis and Servières, referendary at the Court of Auditors. Antoine Caillot, a priest of the diocese of Lyon, became, following the revolution, one of the most tireless compilers of the century. Under the pseudonym of "Gaspard l'Avisé" or "Abbé petit-maître" he published numerous works, especially historical, moral or religious compilations, as well as pamphlets.
