Beautiful engraved title. Antique stiff vellum, handwritten title on spine. A good copy. History of Rome by Titus Livius, edited by J.F. Gronovius, with numerous footnotes, and an enormous index following the text of each volume; with appendices by the Italian humanist Carolus Sigonius which continue the chronologies of Titus Livius, considered the most literary of Roman historians.
