Georges NOWAK (ACTIVE BETWEEN 1900 AND 1925) PARISIAN SCHOOL ART NOUVEAU "Leaves and fruits of common plane tree Ribbed, molded and carved mahogany and mahogany veneer saddle; with a spacer tray and a crotch tray. The three ribbed jambs with carved receptions accommodate the three triangular escutcheon trays. The upper tray rests on a belt with carved title motifs in the corners; forming capitals of the legs. Art nouveau period. Stamped with the seal-monogram G. N. in ink under the upper tray. H.: 126 cm, L.: 55 cm, W.: 55 cm. (A crack on each crotch tray, a slight lack around the upper tray). Provenance: Important Bordeaux collection of Art Nouveau.
