2 volumes in-4; illustrated with a large folding map and 25 plates and maps, some folding, Scattered foxing in places.
½ brown calf with filleted corners, spines restored and rebacked, rubbing to boards.
Rare and important voyage to discover a northwest passage. He discovered several Pacific islands, visited Tahiti and met one of the Bounty mutineers.
