BEECHEY (Frederikc William) Narrative of a voyage to the Pacifc and Beering's Strait, to co-operate with the polar expeditions: performed in his Majesty's Ship "Blossom", under the command of captain F. W. Beechey, in the years 1825, 26, 27, 28. London, Colburn and Bentley, 1831. 2 volumes in-4; illustrated with a large folding map and 25 plates and maps, some folding, Scattered foxing in places. ½ brown calf with filleted corners, spines restored and rebacked, rubbing to boards. Rare and important voyage to discover a northwest passage. He discovered several Pacific islands, visited Tahiti and met one of the Bounty mutineers.
