In-4; illustrated with a color frontispiece and 2 black plates.
½ burgundy long-grained morocco with filleted corners, slightly oiled spine, gilt title and fillets, rubbing to boards, wear defects.
Pananti was captured by Barbary pirates and sold into slavery. After being ransomed, he provided this detailed account of the country and its inhabitants.
