Paris, Aubry, 1861-62. 2 volumes in-4: XXVIII, 6f., 356pp. / CX, 1f., 310pp. 1f. ; 2 folding plates, vignette portrait mounted in text. Edition of 260 copies, one of 60 on laid paper (unjustified). This little-known 16th-century Gascon poet was a friend of Montaigne and Du Bartas. According to Dezeimeris, he is the first of the second-rate poets. Millanges published a first edition of his poems in 1576 (Labadie 1778).
