Contemporary brown chagrin, smooth, slightly oiled spine richly decorated with romantic scroll irons by BOUTIGNY (glued vignette of the bookbinder), gilt rocaille and piétements, gold-ground frame around the boards, large central gilt urn and gilt rocaille irons surrounded by a set of curved cold irons forming a double frame, gilt edges, corners rubbed. A fine copy, perfectly bound by a 19th-century master bookbinder.
Miscellanea historico-literary. Very little on the 2 massifs. The first text sets the tone: "Une maison d'Ajaccio" (Labarère 1571).
