True Pyreneanism à la Beraldi. This is an in-depth study of the Pyrenees (and a little of the Alps) around Ramond. The scientific Pyrenees are in the spotlight, with portraits of all the "greats" against the backdrop of Ossau, Néouvielle, Mont-Perdu and Maladetta, alongside the giants: Saussure and Mont-Blanc. Copy with "long title". Complete with the entire publication, i.e. the five volumes of "Passé du Pyrénéisme", the 3 volumes of "Sommet des Pyrénées" and the two supplements ("La carrière posthume de Ramond" and "En marge du pyrénéisme"). The first volume is often lacking in many collections. An irreproachable copy, superbly bound in the period (Labarère 151 to 159). Provenance: Pierre Caillau Lamicq's gilt numeral at the foot; very few copies from this library have this iron. Later binding by his binder BUISSON.
