With a brief instruction to treat the others on the end of the work. Paris, Houzé, 1599. In-8 (176x110 mm) : 242pp. 4f. with 11 full-page copper-engraved figures of falcons in the text. Some handwritten bookplates from the period. Contemporary vellum with covers. Nice copy. Second edition published about six months after the mythical original edition of Aix of which only six copies are known, two of which are in the public collections (Bibliothèques Méjanes and d'Arbaud). First edition with a totally different typography including the copper engravings (on wood in the original edition).
