Le COURIER DE PROVENCE] 5 volumes of this publication composed by Mirabeau, Megan, Dumont, Duroveray, Champfort, etc. 5 volumes in-8 containing 118 letters and speeches, mostly by Honoré Gabriel Riqueti, Comte de MIRABEAU. ½ period tan basane, smooth spines rubbed, red title-pieces, bronze tomaisons, jaws cracked, accidents to headpieces, red edges. Condition of use. Gazette founded by Mirabeau in 1789, the first issue appeared on May 2, 1789 under the title Etats généraux. Mirabeau continued to publish the minutes of the sessions of the Assembly as well as analyses of the political issues on the agenda, first under the title Lettres du comte Mirabeau à ses commentant from 10 May to 25 July 1789, then under the title Courrier de Provence which appeared until 30 September 1791.
