In-8 : 280pp. Portrait frontispiece - 88pp. ½ period black basane, gilt title and fillets on smooth spine, rubbing. First edition. Pierre Vincent Eliçabide, schoolteacher, born in 1810, is infamous for a triple murder. He was beheaded in Bordeaux in 1840. Rare work. Concerning the Lesnier affair (teacher in Fieu), he was sentenced to hard labour for life. His innocence was later recognized.
