In-12 : 1f., 95pp. (the map is missing). ½ blond calf 19th, gilt fillets, fleurons and title on smooth spine. Lavagne lists few copies of this work which is not in the BnF. Batcave, in his copy, attributed this work to Jos. Lacressy lawyer in Pau. The Desbaratz family printing house having passed into the hands of her uncle Isaac after the death of her father, Jeanne Desbaratz waited until the age of 27 or 28 to set up her own printing house in partnership with Guillaume Dugué. In 1766, the printing house was seized under the pretext that it was "run by a girl" and that people of this sex were not allowed to be printers. This letter of Astros (bishop of Bayonne) was followed by a "Réponse à la Lettre aux Habitans de la ville d'Orthez qui professent la Religion Protestante", anonymous but attributed to "M. Pyt. (26 October 1825), followed by "Seconde Lettre aux Habitans d'Orthez qui professent la Religion Protestante, où l'on montre que la première lettre qui leur a été adressée est restacte intact dans toutes ses parties, malgré la réponse; et qu'il demeure constant que la croyance des protestans n'est appuyée sur aucun fondement raisonnable."
