Luxurious commemorative edition of the centenary of a work published for the greatest glory of gastronomy. A splendid copy preserved in a spectacular morocco binding. Rahir was full of praise for this edition: "Your Physiology of taste reminds us of the beautiful books of the sumptuary period of Romanticism. If Brillat-Savarin came back to the world, this edition of his charming book would be his favourite, and yet the one edited by Gabriel de Gonet contains pleasant images". One of the rare 25 copies on japan in mint condition with the separate suite in fine of each volume.
