MANUFACTURE JULES VIEILLARD & Cie IN BORDEAUX - THE DESIGN OF THE DECORS ATTRIBUTED TO EUGÈNE MILLET (1818-1879) "Japanese decoration, version with enamels in relief" commonly known as "Service Grands oiseaux" designed around [1882-85]. Two plates from the eponymous service. Proofs in earthenware with polychrome enamel decorations in light relief on an ivory background. Each piece marked with the Japanese cachet of the manufacture (Ref. Du Pasquier 46) on the reverse. Label of collection on the back. D. 25 cm Very slight enamel skip around the rim.
