(table) - 4f., 127f., 5f. ; illustrated with 62 woodcuts of which several are full-page (Vénerie) depicting numerous scenes of deer hunting, wild boar hunting, etc., beautiful scene of hunters' meal (where one has to bring barrels "full of good wine from Arbois, Beaune, Chaloce or Grave"). Concerning the Falconry part, we find 30 woodcuts of birds in the text and a hawk hunting scene (title vignette). 18th century marbled calf, red title page, cold fillet framing the boards, gilt roulette on the edges, red edges. Very beautiful edition of Jacques du Fouilloux's masterpiece in an antique binding, which gathers in addition to Du Fouilloux's Vénerie, La Chasse du Loup by Jean de Clamorgan, La Chasse du Conin extracted from La Maison Rustique by Charles Estienne and Jean Liébault, Les Remèdes pour Guérir les Chiens Malades translated by Francesco Carcano, and the Traités de fauconnerie by Jean de Franchières, Guillaume Tardiff, Artelouche de Alagona, and Guillaume Bouchet (Thiébaud 305).
