History EMILI (Paolo) Pauli Aemylii Veronensis Historici clarissimi, de rebus Gestis francorum libri X. Paris, Paruum, 1548. 2 volumes in-8, paper weakened (text missing from the first 4 leaves) on the first pages of volume I. 17th century brown speckled calf, spine ribbed, red title page, small irons on the inter-ribs, small bumps on two headpieces, one torn off, one bit split, double cold fillet framing the boards, The first edition of the complete work was published in 1539 by Vascosan. This chronicle of the French monarchy is of a real pro-French bias but remains an important source for the history of the 15th century.
