Paris, Jean Petit, 1512. In-8 : CLXXIIII, 4f. ; gothic text on two columns of 46 lines. Eighteenth century tawny basane, smooth spine decorated, red title, rubbing and spotting, gilt fillet on the edges, cold fillet framing the boards, red speckled edges. Rare post incunabula edition. Olivier Maillard (1430- Toulouse 1502), Franciscan friar, was one of the greatest Franciscan preachers of the end of the 15th century and confessor of King Charles VIII. No copies in the name of Poncet Le Preux have been found (Brunet III - 1316)(Adams I, 698)(Hain III, 10516).
