[FOUNTAINS OF BORDEAUX] General Project and Documents for the Establishment of a Sufficient Number of Fountains in the City of Bordeaux Bordeaux, Lanefranque frères, 1829. In-4 : 4f., 173pp. ; 5 folding plates in fine. ½ red calf of the time in the Bradel style with small corners, smooth spine slightly insolated, title and gilt fillets, irons and cold fillets. To be compared with the work of Antonin Blanc "Mémoire sur la possibilité d'établir à Bordeaux un nombre suffisant de fontaines" published by Rance in 1787. This general project was published by Lanefranque, Rance's successor. The work is composed of the general project of Mr. Durand, the report of the commission on the project, a series of observations of Mr. Durand on the report and the report of Mr. Lucadou, deputy mayor of Bordeaux.
