Paris, Lebrasseur; Veith & Hauser, 1837-38. 2 volumes in-8 : 4f, 168pp (20 plates out of text) / 4f, 151pp (title frontispiece and 30 plates out of text). One engraving missing. Freckles in places. ½ bottle green morocco with corners with fillets signed Ottmann-Duplanil, spine with nerves decorated with grotesque. Nice copy. These two volumes contain the second and third excursions in Spain. The complete original edition counts 3 volumes. - DIDIER (Charles): Une Année en Espagne. Paris, Dumont, 1837. 2 volumes in-8 : IV, 382pp. and (1) / 432pp. Lacking the title page and false-title of volume I, small stains in places. Wet stamp of the library of the R.P. Franciscans of Bordeaux. ½ tan basane of the time, spines decorated. First edition. The work tells the year of the trip that the author spent in Spain. A great traveler, he wrote many books on his itinerant experiences; this is the first travel report written by Didier.
