KESSELS (Willy) Photo collage titled "L'Afrique nous Parle" composed of 3 silver prints of the period mounted. On the back, wet stamps of the photographer adjacent to the prints. Years 30 (circa 1935). Dimension of the mount : 33,5x21,5 cm. Willy Kessels, Belgian photographer, is best known as a social documentary photographer. In the 1930s, his studio was located in Saint-Gilles (in Brussels). Kessels was sensitive to Nazi ideas and after the war he was accused of collaboration with the occupying forces.
