EIGHT-LEG MAHOGANY DESK with rounded top corners and uprights resting on cambered legs terminating in a scroll, opening to five drawers. (One drawer frame refinished; the gilded bronzes brought back at a later date; probably originally with a step or cylinder). Probably Bordeaux, mid-18th century. H.: 78 cm, W.: 174 cm, D.: 84 cm.
