HARLEQUIN" VIOLIN whose top, back and sides are of Italian origin, but not by the same maker, made around 1800, the French head is later. Size 357 m/m. It is accompanied by a certificate issued by the Luthier Charles Enel Luthier in Paris dated May 2, 1937 and a violin bow bearing the apocryphal iron mark "TOURTE" attributed to the "BAZIN" workshops. (Broken neck). This violin has undergone extensive restoration and is in fair condition.
