Exhibition number 144 (as Marie-Victoire Jaquotot), reproduced on page 146. A renowned porcelain painter who worked at the Manufacture de Sèvres between 1801 and 1842, Marie-Victoire Jaquotot was appointed painter to King Louis XVIII's cabinet in 1817, and later porcelain painter. She was also a virtuoso pianist.
