96 René BUTHAUD (Saintes, 1886-Bordeaux, 1986) and an anonymous cabinetmaker from Bordeaux Large pedestal table with radiating Rio rosewood veneer top, adorned in the center with a bronze medallion representing Mercury and Vulcan, designed by René Buthaud for the Forges et Boulonneries Fernand-Belliard prestige events. H.: 73 cm ; Diam.: 134 cm ; Diam. medallion: 51 cm. Circa 1930 or 1940. Related work : A celadon-colored porcelain ashtray, a Fernand-Belliard advertising object produced in Limoges after René Buthaud (offered with the table).
