In folio; printer's mark on title page. ½ calf 17th century, spine ribbed, leather scorched almost completely, boards in good general condition, rubbing, corners worn, jaws split, one board almost detached (some of the binding links have given way). Appian, Greek historian of the Roman period, born in Alexandria.
