Limited edition of 500 copies, one of 75 on Chine (n°48) containing 4 states of all plates. Minor spotting in places. ½ burgundy morocco with corners signed NOULHAC, gilt title on spine, publisher's cover preserved, gilt head. The artist's illustrations capture the drama of this cruel peasant uprising known as "Révolte de vilains qui éclata le jour de la Fête-Dieu de 1358".
