[NAPOLÉON Ier] Correspondence of Napoleon I published by order of Emperor Napoleon III. Paris, Plon ; Dumaine, 1858-70. 32 volumes in-8. The last four volumes are devoted to the "OEuvres de Napoléon Ier à Sainte-Hélène". ½ green basane, sunned smooth spines, gilt title, fillets and tomaisons on smooth spine. Good homogeneous set. A reference work despite the laudatory nature of the publication under the Second Empire.
