At most, it's a collection of notes, memories, anecdotes and photos I gathered during a voyage from Abidjan to Dunkirk, via Captown and Lourenzo-Marquès, in February and March 1956, aboard the cargo ship "Tessa". If one day I have the time, the inclination and... the courage, I'll try to make something more substantial out of it". - Nice, July 1956.
This remarkable author "self-published" his books with the means at hand. At first glance, one might think that this was a single copy, given the diligence with which the photos were assembled, but this is not the case.
