Bordeaux, l'auteur ; Paris, Didron, 1865. 2 volumes large in-4 : XXVI, 1f., XCVI, 180pp. ; one map (Nom des lieux de la Guyenne militaire) and 62 plates out of text (numbered 1-61, plus 1 bis) / 1f., 462pp., 1f. ; 90 plates out of text (numbered 62-150 and 150 bis). A total of 152 etched plates on mounted chine by Léo DROUYN (all in fine of each volume) and one map. Occasional foxing. All plates mounted on tabs. Contemporary ½ black chagrin, ornate ribbed spine, rubbed, plum-colored percaline boards sunned, cold geometric decoration on boards, corners dulled. A monument to engraving by the excellent Leo Drouyn.
