2 volumes in-4; numerous fold-out parentage tables (not commercially available outside limited edition). Limited edition of 125 copies, one of 100 on Gaulon vellum. This copy contains a death announcement from René Marie Antonin baron de Saint-Pern and an autograph letter from the baron to the comte de Saint Saud. Copy with full margins.
½ green chagrin with filleted corners, iron with a bunch of grapes on the corners, spine with insolated ornamented nerves, alternating irons (arms of the Count of Saint Saud and bunch of grapes) between coffers, A fine copy.
Provenance: A copy from the library of the Comte de Saint Saud, with his printed bookplate, a consignment from the author and with his arms stamped between caissons.
