Drawings - Inks [COCHINCHINE - ALBUM of DRAWINGS and Sketches] Album titled "Cochinchine - Croquis - Novembre 1887 à avril 1890" containing a set of 67 sheets of drawings (some in graphite, sometimes enhanced with ink, others in black ink, a few others enhanced with watercolor), all drawn by André ROBERT (mention at the bottom of a watercolor and name repeated in the section on the voyage on the Mekong). One part is collected under the title Voyage sur le Mékong, Cochinchine, Cambodge et Laos (20 janv.-21 févr. 1890) - Mr Mougeot (docteur), Mr Fontaines (professeur), Mr Pelletier (colon), Mr Robert (dessinateur). Large in-4 oblong, 80 to 100 captioned drawings mounted on the album's backing paper. Set protected by serpents. Nice set. Burgundy percale, spines cracked. A solid set, however.
