China - Japan - Maroquin signed Raparlier CORDIER (Henri) Revue de l'Extrême-Orient. Paris, Leroux, 1883-87. 3 in-8 volumes on laid paper. Covering the years 1882 to 1885. ½ red morocco with corners signed RAPARLIER, gilt titles and tomaisons on spines, gilt heads. Rare and complete with its 3 volumes. Provenance: Printed Henri Cordier bookplate with HC numeral, central ideogram (Cordier in Chinese) and motto "Je flâne donc je suis". Henri Cordier (1849-1925), French orientalist and great traveler, was a bibliographer as well as a bibliophile.
