Rare and unusual chronicle of the various voyages of the Jesuit foreign missions to Cochinchina (Vietnam) and Tonkin. Pallu, a French bishop, was one of the first missionaries to this region and attempted to establish a clergy in Cochin.
The book contains descriptions of the local populations, the Cape Verde Islands, the Bay of Mozambique, Surat and the state of Christianity in Siam (Thailand). There is also a report on Cochinchina and a description of Cambodia.
