Contemporary porphyry-style fawn calf, ornate smooth spine, black title-piece, one cracked headbone, fine garland framing the boards, double gilt fillet on the edges. A good copy.
First edition of this voyage to the archipelago of the Mergui Islands, now in Burma, north of Thailand.
