Dedicated to Count Bathurst, Minister of the Colonies. Enriched with picturesque views and lithographed costumes. Paris, de Gastel, 1826. In-8; illustrated with 9 plates hors texte (one with small lack) and a folding map in fine. Some foxing. Contemporary bronze calf, ornate ribbed spine, black title-piece, stretched headband, cold decoration on boards framed by triple gilt fillet, gilt roulette on edges and inside, marbled edges. Also included: MASPERO (G.): Ruines et paysages d'Égypte. Revised and enlarged edition. Paris, Guilmoto, In-8. ½ contemporary red chagrin, spine ribbed and decorated, gilt head. Gilt numeral at foot to be identified.
