In plano, 79 single- and double-page maps on thick paper, numbered 1 to 59, with subparts ("drawn up for the Neptune Oriental by Mr. D'APRES de MANNEVILLETTE by Mr. l'abbé Dicquemare"). Heavy angular spotting at the foot, sometimes reaching the bottom of the plates. Some plates in good condition. Contemporary brown calf, spine ribbed and rubbed, red "Neptune Oriental" title-piece, headpieces torn off, triple gilt fillet framing the boards, central arms scratched (probably during the Revolution), leather loss on the edges, corners very dull with cardboard loss. Very worn binding. Volume from the extremely rare "Collection de cartes hydrographiques, géographiques" presenting all the outer seas of the globe (Collection without general title, divided into 11 parts or volumes presenting all the outer seas of the globe).
