Orange morocco signed THIERRY, succ. de PETIT-SIMIER, richly decorated ribbed spine, M and L irons and grimacing masks, large irregularly shaped cartouche drawn by straight and curved fillets, in the center a poly-lobed motif charged with an initial M and small irons arranged at the cardinal points, initials M and L repeated at the corners, fine framing garland, double gilt fillet on the edges, gilt lace inside, gilt edges. A superb copy.
