A copy with full margins in excellent condition. Autograph letter to Arlaud. ½ red filleted morocco with corners signed MONTECOT, gilt title on spine, publisher's cover preserved, gilt head. An elegant publication. The suite of woodcuts is extremely rare. Fourth work in the "Cahiers Pyrénéistes" collection. A journey through pre-war Andorra, pre-modernism, with a view of a vanishing past and a leitmotif of road builders and the advance of progress. A lovely text. We also owe the author of "Romantisme et les Pyrénées", in the same taste, the "Flâneries Pyrénées" published in 1939 (Labarère n°592).
