Tarbes, Lesbordes, 1935-1936. 3 volumes in-8: XX, 486pp. / XVI, 368pp. + 1f. bis / VIII, from p. 369 to 888 - 4 double-sided photo plates out of text and a folding map by Maurice HEID in the first part of the second (the last quires of volume I are of a different quality paper). Copy of Georges Ledormeur with his wet stamp on the title pages. XXth century red morocco, titles, tomaisons and gilded fillets on lightened smooth spines, publisher's mastic covers preserved. Very homogeneous set in excellent condition, the reunion of this superb publication, which is moreover bound, is extremely rare! Certainly MEILLON's rarest work, especially with the 2 parts. The second part appeared in the "tirée à Part" edition of the Bulletin de la Société Académique des Hautes Pyrénées from Jan-June 1932 and July-Dec. 1933, with its own pagination, but without separate title or preliminaries. Our "bookshop" edition appeared in 1935-36, 15 years later, to complete the first part. The 3 parts in the bookshop version, together in homogeneous bindings, are extremely rare in public sales.
