Paris, Mulo ; Bordeaux, Panajou, 1904. In-12: VIII, 110pp, 1f. 4f. roses; illustrated with a folding color map, 2 folding panoramas out of text and photographic illustrations in text on every page. Printed on glossy paper. ½ red basane, gilt title, cold filets on smooth spine, Publisher's red and black cover preserved. A good copy. Uncommon. The Lettre Préface by DURÈGNE that introduces this original edition disappears in the third (identical and undated, we have never seen a second edition), as does Mulo's name. The abundance of photogravures is explained by the fact that the PANAJOU brothers ran a large photography workshop on the Allées de Tourny in Bordeaux (Labarère 1142).
