Chocolate-colored Jansenist morocco, gilt titles and tomaisons on slightly lightened spines, arms on covers, double gilt fillet on edges, interior lace, gilt edges, edged slipcases. An excellent work by the head of the Prefecture's office. Contains an important "genealogical and biographical review", 1/3 of the work is devoted to commune statistics. This work, of obvious technical interest to the Prefecture, follows and replaces the first "Statistique du département des Basses-Pyrénées" published by General Serviez in Year X (1802).
