Nineteenth-century black chagrin, title, gilt fillet and irons on lightened ribbed spine, two cold fillets framing the boards with gilt fleurons in spandrels, gilt roulette on edges, fine inner lace, gilt edges.
Rare edition, identical to the original, but illustrated with a single plate. This is the second French edition, a German one having appeared in 1789 like the original.
