½ modern fawn flamed basane, ornate spine, publisher's buff cover preserved. A fine copy.
Very rare. The most documented work on this curious "rat-trompette" endemic to our Pyrenean torrents. Trutat, author of both Pyrenean and naturalist texts, was director of the Toulouse Natural History Museum.
