In-8. Contemporary red calf, spine ribbed and decorated with cold-plate flowers and a series of double fillets, gilt roulette on the corners, interior roulette, gilt edges.
Contains his famous letter to his friend and compatriot from the island of Bourbon, Evariste de Forges de Parny, during the trip he made to Saint-Sauveur in 1782 to treat his compromised health.
This letter in prose and verse is one of the earliest Pyrenean writings.
