Madrid, Imprenta de San Francisco de Sales [then] Ratés, 1899-1906. 3 volumes large in-8; black coats of arms in the text. A fine copy. Marbled brown basane, ornate ribbed spine, black title-pieces and tomaisons, gilt roulette framing the boards, central gilt arms of Charles de Launet, publisher's beige covers preserved. Provenances: From the libraries of the Marquisat de Beauvau with his printed bookplate, Charles de Launet with his gilded arms and printed bookplate, and Amadeo Delaunet with his printed bookplate and wetstamp. Amadeo Delaunet y Esnaola (1885-1958) in San Sebastian, bibliophile, genealogist (specializing in the great families of the Basque Country) and correspondent of the Royal Academy of History. His library was sold at auction on April 17 and 18, 2015 in Paris.
