In-4, decorated with 18 color compositions. Limited edition of 130 copies, one of 98 copies reserved for members of the Société. Brown morocco, gilt title on spine, triple gilt fillet on covers, filleted edges, inner lace, publisher's cover preserved, gilt head, protective slipcase. Superb illustrations by Henri-Achille Zo, a French painter and illustrator who was born in Bayonne in 1873 and died in Onesse-Laharie in 1933. He sometimes signed his drawings under the name Henri Zo. In 1903, he received the Prix Rosa Bonheur, then the Prix Trémont awarded by the Institut. He was named Chevalier de la Légion d'Honneur in 1910, under the patronage of his master Léon Bonnat. Provenance: Printed bookplate P. Goute.
