Auguste RENOIR (1841-1919) Twelve original lithographs by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. From Ambroise Vollard, 28 Rue de Gramont. Paris.1919. Reunion of 11 of 12 lithographs, without title page or edition justification, with the letterpress sheet representing all subjects. In sheets, namely: Ambroise Vollard, Louis Valtat, Claude Renoir la tête baissée, Claude Renoir tourné à gauche, la pierre aux trois croquis, étude de femme nue assise, femme au cep de vigne and 4 variants. Missing: Etude de femme nue assise. Lithographs on vellum, each with signature in the plate, very light foxing, a few traces of folding, small chips on the right edge of D. 45, irregular edges or tiny chips on the edges of some (Delteil 37 to 41, 43 to 48) Dimensions: 11.5 x 8cm to 22 x 28.5cm, 29.5 x 24cm. Sheets: Sheets: 32.5 x 25cm. A very fine set, representative of Renoir's favorite subjects and his accomplished lithographic art. Presented in a modern cloth slipcase.
