"Hanging cockatoos and fluttering butterflies".
Spectacular hemispherical planter with projecting rim.
Polychrome enameled ceramic proof; the title decoration, treated in the manner of a cloisonné and featuring reserves on gold pebbles, on a yellow background with foliage motifs in slight relief under glaze.
The rim of the border is decorated with vines and polychrome; its base is formed by a turquoise scroll.
Late 19th century, early 20th century.
Signed C. ROGER towards the base in the decoration.
Height: 45 cm - Diameter: 61 cm.
(Small cracks in the glaze and scattered enamel chips, particularly around the rim, minor scattered surface wear).
