Late 18th century silver wax case, four-lobed with fillet decoration, the body engraved with the letters BIM, the dies engraved: on the top with the arms of France and at the base with the covenant arms of the Lavau de Gayon and Chandelier de la Pigeonnière 46 g. Marks illegible. Height 9.1 cm. This case would have belonged to Jean-Baptiste Mouches, the King's bodyguard.
